The Mary moment consisted of a page from the Bible study I was doing back in TN. We were encouraged to reword the following Scriptures as prayers for our loved ones:
Psalm 18:16-19
Proverbs 2:7-8
Proverbs 4:23-27 and
Romans 12:1-2
As instructed in the Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed study, we were to write:
Dear Father in heaven, in accordance with Your powerful, life-giving Word, I ask You....
followed by the rewritten Scripture. I gave each gal a worksheet and some 3x5 cards to accomplish the task.
This was a very meaningful exercise for me.

For the Martha moment, prior to leaving on my trip, I made each gal (including my hostesses along the way) a tea wallet.
Here they are:

I had so much fun making these cute little things! They are a nice little hostess gift. You may want to whip up a batch yourself!

I started my cards this morning before I read your blog :) Thank you for the gentle reminder of the power of God's word and for the cute little tea wallet.
Loved being with you,
Ann
A tea wallet is a great gift. Simple and practical. I bet they have all missed the Mary/Martha moments with you.
Hey ... that bird feeder on my post ... is a squirrel proof feeder. Hilarious to watch the squirrels try their darndest to get into it. I had one even trying to open the roof to get inside. Walmart online. It was the Butler's birthday present last year.
The tea wallets are wonderful!!
Oh, that is just the ticket for a little gift for a friend, undergoing chemo, who loves tea! Thanks for sharing that Martha moment and for the Mary Moment, too!
Blessings!
Loved being with you too, Ann. And you, Molly!
Becky, thanks for the info. We don't have squirrels in our yard (yet) - need some more mature trees, but have many memories of the gymnastics the critters would perform trying to get in to the bird feeder.
Lady Farmer, I will pray for your friend. Hope the tea wallet brings her some cheer.
