It was a quiet weekend around here. Some yard work. Some house work. Some shopping.The garden has more beautiful surprises every day and we have enjoyed eating from there every day. Our neighbor brought over an armful of rhubarb, which is now all cut up and in the freezer.
Off to take the car in for some (hopefully not expensive) repairs.

Hello! We had 6 hours of baseball Saturday...Ike had a double header, so it feels like summer might be here. Sunday, saw an old girlfriend in church I haven't seen in awhile and got to visit long, as patient husbands waited in the car. Went to the Memorial Service at the court house on Monday and toured the cemetery to see the flags, and planted seeds in a very dusty, dry garden (that is getting a plentiful, gentle rain today) and of course, barbecued chicken for the holiday.
And today, back to normal! Linda
