My, my my. Did it rain on Saturday! All of the water in the above picture is not normally there. Rained and rained and rained. We lost power for a bit. And then during the night the power was off for two and a half hours. Do you know how quiet your house is when there are no appliances running? Too quiet. Too quiet to sleep.
But after the rain, a beautiful rainbow, God's promise:
"I have set my rainbow in the clouds,
and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth."
Genesis 9:13
and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth."
Genesis 9:13

That picture reminds me of rain we get at times up here in the PNW! But this year we have had the most dry summer! ALMOST wishing we had some of your rain! =D
When it does rain like that, I am always glad to see God's promise in the sky afterward and I am thankful I have "built my house upon the Rock!"
Blessings!
You must have gotten some of that front that has stalled over Atlanta for the better part of a month. Imagine if that was all snow! Eeeek.
We were thankful to be high and dry, Lady Farmer. And thankful that it wasn't snow, Becky! Eeek is right!
