"If I die on a Tuesday," she said, "could you be here by Saturday for the service?"
We assured her that we could.
She did not want to inconvenience anyone...if her service were on a Saturday, then most folks wouldn't have to take off work. A servant's heart-always thinking of others.
Yesterday the call came. On a Tuesday. Eileen's two year battle with cancer is over. She is in the presence of her loving Heavenly Father.
We are sad. Rejoicing for Eileen's sake, sad for us and especially sad for our precious daughter-in-love Michelle. She is Eileen's daughter.
We would appreciate your prayers for the family.
"But we do not want you to be uninformed brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope."
I Thessalonians 4:13
