BE GOOD (or behave)
verses from the book of Proverbs on handling money
Honor the
LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops;
Then your
barns will be filled to overflowing and your vats will brim over with new
wine. 3:9
My son, if
you have put up security for your neighbor, if you have struck hands in pledge
for another, if you have been trapped by what you have said, ensnared by the
words of your mouth, then do this my son, to free yourself since you have
fallen into your neighbor's hands. Go
and humble yourself; press your plea with your neighbor. Allow no sleep to your eyes, no slumber to
your eyelids. Free yourself, like a
gazelle, from the hand of the Hunter,Mike a bird from the snare of a
fowler. 6:1-5

man earns deceptive wages but he who sows righteousness reaps a sure
reward. 11:18

ask of you O LORD; do not refuse me before I die:
Keep
falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches but give me
only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may
have too much and disown you and say, “ Who is the LORD?” Or I may become poor and steal and so
dishonor the name of my GOD. 30:7-9
